Church of the Cross is hosting a live music and discussion event this Sunday, Aug 6th at 7pm in Powery Hall.  Daniel and I have invited our dear friends and fellow Christian-indie songwriters Schuyler Kitchin and Colonel & the Husk to perform some of their songs with us and share more about their work in a roundtable-style discussion for attendees to listen in on (and maybe ask a few questions of their own!).  Themes to be discussed include the slow growth of sanctification, walking with Jesus through grief and trauma, and processing the societal upheaval of the past 3 years. Light snacks, seltzers, and lyric sheets will be provided!  Admission is free with a suggested $10 donation.  You can “reserve a seat” so we know you’re coming, or you can just show up!  Feel free to invite any friends who might be interested, and hope to see you there!
